Sample Submission Instructions
  1. Contact ORB via our web response form to receive pre-authorization and the sample submission checklist.
  2. Submit 5 micrograms total RNA per sample in a volume of 10 uls or less
  3. Samples containing 1-2 ug RNA or in larger volumes may also be submitted as special requests for a small additional charge- please inquire
  4. Important: To avoid any potential incompatibility with our labeling chemistry, we ask that you digest your RNA sample with RNase-free DNase I and purify it by silica-gel based column chromotography (e.g. RNeasy MinElute, Qiagen) prior to submission.
  5. Ship samples to the address listed below on dry ice using Federal Express std. overnight. Samples received on Thursdays or Fridays receive expedited processing.
Results Package
  • Quality control report including measures of signal-to-noise and reproducibility
  • Spreadsheet of background subtracted and normalized spot-intensities for all array features
  • Hierarchical clustering of samples
  • Data and annotation for differentially regulated genes as determined by ANOVA with correction for multiple comparisons (minimum of 6 samples required)
  • Principal component analysis (requires 3 or more experimental groups)
  • Gene ontology analysis with graphical display of top 10 pathways may be included for an additional fee
